Community Support at Echuca Toyota

Echuca Moama Apex Club had their annual golf day in November 2019 and we were thrilled to be a major sponsor of this event once again. Apex is a charity that helps improve the life of Australians with special needs. Apex relies on community support for any projects they undertake and this is one of their major fundraising events. It was a fantastic day and thankfully the weather was perfect for a hit of golf.

Natioanl Schools Tree Day is something that we have been involved with for many years, it's very exciting to see the kids get their hands dirty and plant trees at their school that they are able to watch grow. This year (July 2019) we planted at Echuca Primary School and we had two new business jump on board to partner with us for this fantastic event, a big thank you to both Kennaugh’s Garden Centre and the Rich River Golf Club for your support.

Toyota Good For Footy helps local football clubs through the grass roots program, Echuca Toyota takes pride on being involved within our community and we sponsor a few different football clubs throughout the season to support our young sports people in the area. This year for our Good for Footy event we teamed up with Echuca United Football Netball Club and held it at their grounds on Wednesday 12th June 2019. We had former AFL player Nick Dal Santo join us for the afternoon/night to assist with training and the kids were able to ask him about his career in a question and answer session after training had concluded. Despite it being a bit of a wet and cold training session the kids had a fantastic time.

On Friday 16th November 2018 the Annual Echuca Toyota Apex Golf Day took place. This event brings together local business people throughout the area to play some competitive golf and to raise funds for Apex.

Apex helps improve the quality of life of Australians who have special needs. One of the principal ideals which the Apex Foundation has adhered to over its history, is the principle that the success of any project depends upon community support at all levels. They therefore do not rely upon government funding for the success or continuation of any of their projects, which has seen many other organisations fall by the wayside.

On Wednesday 30th May 2018 we had our Good for Footy night, we teamed up with Rochester Football Netball Club. We were lucky enough to have former AFL player Travis Cloke come along to help with the training session. Toyota Good For Footy has been helping local footy grow through the Good for Footy program for a number of years. Echuca Toyota has been a long-time supporter of the program and has been involved for a number of years with different clubs in our area.
